Common questions

The two devices won't find each other

Both need Local Network permission, and Bluetooth switched on. They pair directly rather than over Wi-Fi, so they do not need to be on the same network — but they do need to be within about 30 metres of each other.

Who serves next looks wrong in doubles

Rallix follows the BWF rule: the serve comes from the right court on an even score and the left on an odd one, and the player standing in that court serves. A side that wins a rally while receiving does not rotate — it simply gains the serve. If a rally was awarded to the wrong side, use Undo rather than adjusting the score, because undo restores the serve and court positions too.

My stream is buffering

Check your upload speed, not download. 720p at 2500–3500 kbps is the reliable setting on cellular; 1080p needs a genuinely good uplink.

Do both people need a subscription?

No. Only the phone that streams needs Rallix Pro. Scoring from a second device is free.
